CSS/ data rock

I have had tickets to this show since march. And it's been sold out almost as long. So needles to say when johnny called me and reminded me that we had tickets....i was a little excited. (yes, that's right, i got the dates mixed up and had completely forgot when the show was) .

So anyway i got off work a little early and headed down. I was a little excited to see bond de role. I hadn't listened to much of their stuff but i heard they were good, and nothing says love like seeing it live. But when i got there it was indeed not bond de role, but data rock!! i had never heard of them...i was a little disappointed. but all it took was one look at their matching red jumpsuits and i was hooked!! They were fun and energetic and i found myself chair dancing to more then a few songs.

then there was some bad bad rapper guy. I'm not going to post his name b/c, if you don't have something nice to say......


So then cam the moment we had all been waiting for......CSS was about o hit the stage. they all come out in baggy sweats, ok kinda strange, but the first song was great.

and then....

the singer ripped off her baggy sweats to reveal a multi coloured UNITARD!!! i fucking kid you not. i think at that moment my mind actually got blown and remained so for the rest of the night.They played stuff from their album and they played some brand new stuff. The singer kept talking about gifts and when they came out to do the encore she threw lots of random stuff at the audience, for example, a stack of beer cups. and i think the other thing may have been straws..?. The sound was awesome, the music was awesome....i seriously can not use the word awesome enough here. The played death from above as the last song in the encore...and it was amazing.
