Bodies of water opened for S&D. I haven't heard any of their stuff so i wasn't sure what to expect, but they were really good. I loved that the whole band sang almost every song. They had great harmony. I'm also a sucker for any band who has their drummer sing....that's hard! I loved the main singers high voice, which was kinda screamy at time, it was great!
Ok. When Adele Bethel came out in a gold sequined tank top, purple sequined short shorts and gold arm bands, i knew it was going to be a good show. They didn't really play much from This Gift. Which i have to say i was a little happy about. Repulsion box is by far my favorite album.
It's too bad they had to play on a wednesday, the crowd didn't really seem like they were in the dancing mood. There wasn't a lot of energy, this may have something to do with the fact that the bass player looked dead/ really really sick (we found out half way through the show that she was indeed very ill)
all in all i though S&D played a awesome set. Even if i was the only one dancing!!
