So we got there early and got a table. I made fast friends with the sound guy and he let me sit in front of him. USWOM were ok, not great, i wasn't really into it. They didn't have the kind of energy that made me want to get up and dance....or sway...or tap my foot... in fact, i'm not sure they even wanted to be there.

Obijou was completely amazing. I'm not too familiar with them, but i loved them from the minute they hit the stage. They just had this vibe that was soo good. It's not too often you see and band you don't really know that well and have the overwhelming need to go buy all their albums. all i can say is...WOW!

I've seen you say party we say die a couple of times now, and the energy they bring with them on stage is absolutely contagious. I can't help but dance like a fool. I love both their albums, so it was also hard to not sing along to all their songs. loves it!

but by this point i was really drunk and spent most of my time outside...or chatting with friends so i didn't really hear the other bands enough to make a valid review of the show.

ok, then we got a hot tip from this guy john knew about this secret show at some place where lioness would be playing ( if you were at all like me you had no idea who this was, but it turns out the are the guys from controller controller's new band) as well as YSPWSD! so we took our drunk asses to McD's and then headed to the "secret" show.We got there just as lioness was playing their last song and leaving the stage...boo. They sounded great, but I'll have to keep an ear to the ground for more from them. We were actually so close to YSPWSD! that i could have pulled her( the singer) hair.

all in all the night was pretty great. 5/5 woot
